Unfortunately, this classic film is not currently available on Netflix in America. The Dead Poet’s Society can only be watched on Netflix in Mexico, South Korea and Hong Kong, but this doesn’t mean that American Netflix subscribers are completely out of luck – by using a VPN, or Virtual Private Network, you can defeat the geo-blocks imposed by Netflix and watch content that should only be available in other countries. As long as the VPN service you using has many available servers in countries where the film is unlocked on Netflix, you should have no issues changing your Netflix region, connecting to one of these servers and pulling up the film.
Listed below are the international Netflix libraries that currently include this movie:
We strongly recommend ExpressVPN due to their blazing fast streaming servers, and ability to quickly and easily unblock Netflix movies only available in countries outside of the USA.
Set in an elite, private New England prep school Welton Academy, the Dead Poet’s Society follows high school junior Todd Anderson as he begins his new school year. He and his classmates are introduced to their new English teacher, John Keating, who’s unorthodox teaching methods and encouragement of their individuality soon capture their respect and admiration. This leads to the resurrection of the Dead Poet’s Society, a poetry club where Todd and his friends met secretly off campus and read each other poetry. However, breaking away from the mold can have serious consequences: Even as the boys encouraged each other to pursue their own dreams, tragedy would soon strike when a club member refuses to follow the life path which his parents have set out for him.
