Sheltered 2

The first Sheltered game was released in 2015 and received middling reviews from reviewers. However, there seems to be a disconnect between the player base and games journalists as Sheltered enjoys a rabid fan base. Hence, Sheltered 2 was greenlit and will be available on Steam on September 21, 2021.

Developer Unicube declared that the sequel will build up from the addictive core gameplay the first title had, all while making the game more complex and difficult. New to the sequel is the “factions” system in which players will have to be diplomatic in a post-apocalyptic setting to gain relationships and its added benefits or be in conflict with neighboring clans and groups to grab their resources. Combat is also expected to be expanded in Sheltered 2 as compared to the original.
