Siege the Day is set to get released on the 20th of September 2021. It is developed by Hidden Tower Studios. This developer made MMA Arena, a unique take on the sport with its turn-based tactical gameplay.

Beyond Contact

Beyond Contact is PlayCorp Studios’ upcoming Early Access game which features colorful neon-lit graphics. This is a sci-fi action-adventure game set in a hostile planet Ketern. Beyond Contact promises to feature an elaborate crafting system in its procedurally generated world.

Character customization is also given a lot of focus in this game as well as base-building and defending it. Players are also expected to explore the dynamic planet and stave off some of the fiercest monsters and mobs. The planet itself and its unpredictable weather will pose an extreme threat to players. To top all of that: there are also aliens to deal with.

Beyond Contact employs a top-down third-person point of view. It also allows for multiplayer sessions with friends. This is PlayCorp Studios’ first game on Steam and is published by Deep Silver. Beyond Contact is planned to release on the 21st of September 2021.

Guild of Ascension

Guild of Ascension is a rouge-lite tactical RPG that offers a lot of gameplay mechanics including, but not limited to, crafting, epic boss fights, and taming monsters. The Addams Family: Mansion Mayhem

The Addams Family is back in this 3D platformer. Sheltered 2

The first Sheltered game was released in 2015 and received middling reviews from reviewers. However, there seems to be a disconnect between the player base and games journalists as Sheltered enjoys a rabid fan base. Hence, Sheltered 2 was greenlit and will be available on Steam on September 21, 2021.

Developer Unicube declared that the sequel will build up from the addictive core gameplay the first title had, all while making the game more complex and difficult. New to the sequel is the “factions” system in which players will have to be diplomatic in a post-apocalyptic setting to gain relationships and its added benefits or be in conflict with neighboring clans and groups to grab their resources. Combat is also expected to be expanded in Sheltered 2 as compared to the original.

Embr escapes its Early Access stage and is set to be released on the 23rd of September 2021. Embr makes the thankless and blisteringly dangerous profession of firefighting into a fun game. In this game, players are to group up and employ teamwork to stop fires.

Embr has 25 levels across three districts. This is not simply extinguishing the fire with only flames as the obstacles. There are escalating dangers like traps and other hazards. Players can also steal from the fire. There is also equipment to create and upgrade.

World War Z: Aftermath

Another sequel in this list, World War Z: Aftermath looks bigger and meaner than the original game. Over 15 million players enjoyed the zombie apocalypse third-person shooter. Steam players enjoyed the first game as it features cross-play with gamers on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch. World War Z: Aftermath will also feature cross-play with non-PC gamers as well as those who are in other PC gaming storefronts.

Just like the original, Aftermath will have waves of flesh-eating zombies for the players to endure. The new Horde Mode XL mode unique to the sequel allows hundreds of zombies on screen. This mode is only available on PC. World War Z: Aftermath arrives on Steam by the 21st of September 2025.

Bean Stalker
